Can an independent food ordering tool take a stand against delivery giants?

Delivery system giants like LIEFERANDO blossomed during the pandemic, when most restaurants had to switch their business model over night. But for the many benefits they offer such as convenience, security, constant traffic, established customer base, reliable fleet etc. they charge restaurants up to 30% per order on top of other unpleasant terms. DISH on the other hand offers the restaurateurs an alternative delivery system for the price of a monthly subscription. But how can a small independent player compete with the market leaders?

Solution

Instead of promoting our service’s technical features, we remind the restaurant owners about one thing that they lose going with giant delivery systems - their independency.

In the headline-based communication we remind our customers of all the reasons that made them start their business in the first place and oppose them to the reality of their connection with delivery giants. We took the most common triggers and used them to put a perspective on the situation, thus igniting the conversation in the business owner community and encouraging them to look for alternative solutions to their delivery needs.
